Conveniently located a half hour from Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. Very friendly host to check us in. Spotlessly clean room. Soft, cushy towels and comfortable bed, nice pillows. Bathroom looked updated. I liked the pebbly floor of the shower which was comfortable to stand on! Nice to have a kitchen area too. The restaurant had excellent food and very friendly and welcoming service.

Plenty of choices in the continental breakfast selection. Room was a quick walk to the office. Spacious room. Kim, the clerk was very nice and accommodating. Comfortable beds. There was no outside noise so it was a pleasant stay.

When you want south Padres water, but not the hustle and noise, Port Isabelle is the place to go! Lovely shops, food, and don’t miss the lighthouse. I wish I had stayed a week instead of only a few days. And definitely book a fishing trip! We took one as a surprise for my husband for surprising me. They were a bit understaffed due to the Covid pandemic which is understandable. The room had two full-size beds with a Kitchenette. Was dated but everything was clean and in working order.
